Cyanotype Workshop Announced!
Join me for an experience that's equal parts art, science, and play
Hey there!
If this warmer weather has you craving a little sun, a little fun, and a lot of hands-on creativity, you’re in luck!
Join me for my upcoming Archiving Fabric Cyanotype Workshop at Son of a Sailor, a space here in San Antonio that feels like it was made for making beautiful things.
So… what even is cyanotype?

It’s a historic printmaking process where fabric is coated with a light-sensitive solution, layered with imagery, and exposed to sunlight. When rinsed, it reveals rich, deeply pigmented prints that capture an absolutely stunning level of detail.
In this workshop, you’ll explore a slightly modified version of the process using fabric & light-sensitive solutions in different pigments to create your very own unique garments, & on top of walking away with a cool new shirt, you also get a digital PDF lesson plan that covers all the instruction from the class to keep the printing fun going at home!
We’ll be playing with beautiful historical imagery with printed transparencies, layering them with leaves, flowers, and cut paper stencils on shirts for you to print and wear so you can proudly display your artistry!

Whether you’re an experienced artist or just curious, this is your chance to get creative, get your bones dirty, and make something beautifully unique.
Spots are limited, so grab your ticket today! Bring your curiosity, your creativity, and let the sun do the rest.
